My wife and I stay at Il Lugano for our honeymoon from June 23 - 28. This is a wonderful hotel and is close to the beach and downtown. The staff is wonderful, the rooms are excellent, we had a full kitchen. The bathroom is the best hotel bathroom I have had. Our room had a wonderful view and provided opportunity for me to show off my photographer skills. This hotel had an Ipod dock in the room! Flat screen LCD HD TV. we had just about every channel you can dream off and they were in HD. On the Friday of our stay the hotel had free Grey Goose shots at the lobby bar. The only downside to this hotel is the expensive parking rate. It cost us $25.00 a night. Will stay again. This is one of the best hotels I have stay in. Oh, did I mention that the furniture in the room is very modern!

We have been in the Il Lugano the 3rd time and till now always contentedly. This time, unfortunately, everything has not run just like we know it. Although a German Manager conducts the hotel now, the service gets worse and worse. There initially was a breakfast contained in the room fee which was cancelled, however, in between. As a substitute there is a greasy breakfast in the new hotel restaurant at a price of USD 12 per person now. Provided that one comes onto the idea using the kitchenette in the hotel room, she/he must take care to smuggles the food carefully to the hotel. Provided that one is sighted with shopping bags from a Puplix or Target she/he is not punished only with an evil look, the door is not held back any more ... It was the absolute banger at our stay that the room service had used our bathroom. Unfortunately, "he" had missed the toilet and left a big yellow lake next to the toilet. Neither the hotel management nor the employees of the reception were interested in it. Therefore we needed to clean. Also after our return we have written a nice e-mail to the hotel manager regarding this, but it was unfortunately neither read nor answered. It is a pity, which is followed to the request of the guests so little and we are thinking it over, whether we will book the Il Lugano at all once again.

My boyfreind and I stayed at il Lugano a few months ago and had a truly memorable trip - our best vacation ever! We are from Chicago and it was such a treat to come to this beautiful property that offered so much at such a reasonalbe price. We stayed in a gorgeous suite that had this MASSIVE balcony overlooking the intracoastal - a view we will never forget! Everything from the pool, restaurant and event the staff - all were top notch and we will definitely return! Thanks again, il Lugano!

I love Il Lugano! My husband and I stayed for the weekend and it was absolutely lovely. The rooms are spacious and luxurious (bvlgari amenities in the bathroom)and the staff was so friendly and accomodating. We felt immediatley relaxed upon our arrival. We took a sunset cruise and had a delicious dinner at da Campo. We had so much fun we didn't leave the hotel for the entire weekend.

My experience at il Lugano was one that I will never forget. Every detail about my time there was exquisite and wonderful from the relaxing luxurious environment to the friendly staff. I've never had such good service which made for a truly stress free experience. I will definitely be back!
